Thanks for visiting my page.

Licensed since 1979, previous callsing EA5ABP, worked hard in QRP CW at 10 m and 20 m, all continents and many DXCC countries.

My interest remains the QRP (and the QRPp), CW and SSB, especially bands 20 m and 10 m (here also FM and AM).

I like the "radio simple" simple equipment, a few watts, antenna wire easy to install and remove. . . and air!

I finished (14-07-2013) building from BERROW, a small transceiver CW QRP or QRPp 2 W - 0.7 W, currently set to 1 W for 20 meters, receiver is DC, design by Tim Walford G3PCJ that supplies the kit.

Berrow has the charm and elegance of simplicity and is very effective, it is a delight operate the Berrow. The kits from Tim are very recommended!

To date (20-04-2014), 150 QSOs, 64 countries, 5 continents, 22 islands, 8 states USA and 17 ITU zones, worked with the small transceiver and a half wave dipole wire.

Countries by continent: EU 48 - AF 5 - AS 6 - NA 4 - SA 1.

QSO more distant by continent: EU 3967 km - AF 3075 km - AS 10659 km - NA 7144 km - SA 7228 km.

The small transceiver works well!

"I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, wire telegraphy is like a very long cat.You yank his tail in New York and he meows in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is exactly the same, except that there is no cat." Albert Einstein.

I hope to find in the air, 73 and best DX, Luis.
