Regular QTH Reus JN01ND and Cambrils JN01NB Main conditions at this time: FT-2000 AL-811 Antenna TW2010 I had a MFJ-1946 that a storm broke last november 2009 (Now waiting for BigIR vertical antenna) Callsigns that I use: EB3EPR - EB3EPR/2 - AO3O (contest)
The QRP configuration for a really challenging DXCC HB-1A, ZM-2 antenna tuner, and DIA-STAR V2 144Mhz whip antenna. Just to try if will be possible the DXCC indoor qrp. 11 March 2010 DXCC status #1 HA6PQ (Today I start this DXCC)
This is my last project EB3EPR/BM, just install the Buddistick antenna in my bicycle, still not enought test to know if the antenna is working well or not, more test next weekends. Of course this is an antenna for when I am stationary and not riding the bicycle, but I like to stop in my bicycle trips and enjoy the views and the radio too. And maybe some trip during next summer.
The 2 contepoises are a 10m long meter that I can adjust at the legth that I want.
I tested with my FT-817 but will use the PFR3 or HB-1A next time.
PBMME (Polar Bear Madness). 30 January 2010 I have been active in the last PBMME from the beach of Cambrils. Equipment rig HB-1A antenna quarterwave in a fishing rod, 12V nimh battery with a 5W solar panel. Very windy day with temperatures of 6c - 43F more or less. Nice radio day 6 DXCC in hour and half PA-HA-4X-G-S5-YT "Shack" location almost 360º of sea water.
HB-1A radio, ZM-2 antenna tuner, 12V nimh 3000mA battery, Palm paddle, 5W solar panel with 12V charge regulator. EB3EPR in the operation point. EB3EPR/2 (Callsign for new contest QTH) I am actually envolved in a new Contest QTH, very isolated place with no QRM and lot of space for antennas, more close neighbour is around 12Km away. The callsign for this QTH is EB3EPR/2 its located in Zaragoza province and will be the call for some contest. First test was last CQWWDX SSB 2009 with small antennas a G5RV for 80-40m and TW2010 vertical antenna for 10-15-20m, the radio was FT-817 QRP, will improve for next year contest. Antennas for the last CQWWSSB 2009 G5RV and TW2010. EB3EPR/2 Radio table, FT817 5w QRP, Z-11 antenna tuner, Samsung NC10 netbook, 2x 7,5A batteries and 800W Sai, Rigexpert for CAT. EB3EPR/2 QSL is ok via BURO or Home call. Thanks, Esteve EB3EPR.
