Hello Everybody,

Thanks for looking me up my 'QRZ' page, My name is Tommy and i live in the seaside village called Malin Head Co. Donegal. I am happily Married to my wife Mary since 1978 and we have two childern and 8 grandchildren. I was a SWL for many years and just passed my EXAM on the 4th of october 2012 with great help from Peter EI4JR. I am a retired Fisherman where i fished of the north coast of ireland for roughly 30 years and now with lots of free time i do enjoy radio alot, I am active on all HF bands bar 160m and also active on VHF/UHF , I also use ECHOLINK accessing echolink node ei2ipg in Donegal which is8 kilometers from my QTH.

My Working Conditions:

My main Transceiver for HF is a ICOM IC 756 PRO 3 and my antennas for HF are Cushcraft A3S 3 element tribander for 10/15/20 meters, my rotator is a yaesu G1000dxc and it all sits comfortably on top of my 10 meter tilt over tower, also for HF i have a OCF Windom dipole aproximatly 135 feet in lenght matched with a 4:1 balun and it is10meters high, it covers all bands from 10 to 80 meters. For VHF my transceiver is a YAESU 2900m and my antenna is an Diamond F23 fiberglass Vertical whip it only covers 2m, I also pack a small Dualband handheld when i am out of the house for 2m/70cm it is a Quansheng TG-UV2 which i can also use on ECHOLINK.

QSL INFORMATION:

I can QSL direct or via IRTS bureau. Bureau prefered

So thank you for the QSO and the contact and I hope to hear you on the band again so best 73's from Tommy and from Ireland.
