Hi thanks for looking me up,im Richard and live in County Longford in central Ireland,I live on my farm 2 miles East of Longford town which is 75 miles west of Dublin our capital city,my Locator is IO62CR.Our IOTA number is EU-115.

Am on Ham Radio since October 2007 and have worked 188 countries and have 130 confirmed so now I can look for DXCC,I have also worked 38 zones and have 30 confirmed and have 40 U.S. states worked,Im useing a Yaesu FT2000 Transceiver,a 4 element 6 band Yagi,a Carolina Windom and an 80 Meter Vertical antenna,I use a Heil Headset with a HC-4 insert which is handy for VOX,I have an old Heathkit SB220 Linear Amplifier,my tuner is an MFJ-986 Roller Inducter tuner.I have started to use PSK31 and use Ham Radio Deluxe and a Tigertronics Interface.

I use Logger 32 for my log and I think it is a great log with all the facilities and free as well so thanks to Bob Furzer K4CY who wrote it and supplies it free to us all.A big thanks also to the crews at QRZ.COM,Eham.net and Rigpix and loads of others for brilliant websites,who said "Ham Radio is dying." Hihi.

QSL can be done direct or via bureau,direct cards will be answered on the day I receive them and Buros as soon as I get them,direct with new Ircs or Dollars,please dont put your or my callsign on envelope because they are being opened and alot of my cards are not being answered,have received alot of cards lately with the envelopes ripped,I like to use EQSL and have (AG)and usually upload on the last Friday of each month, but dont use LOTW yet.My card is the one at the bottom of this page and was designed and printed by Gennady UX5UO.

I work mostly 20 and 17 meters in summer and 80 meters in the winter for DX and am planning 2 phased verticals for the coming season,anyway thanks to everyone for all the contacts and all the qsl cards since I started and keep the cards coming please,all the best.
