My name is Mark and I became a ham at the turn of the century. I live near Castlerea in County Roscommon about 50kms north east of Galway City.

My equipment is a Yaesu FT2000 and my antennas are a 1/4 wave ground mounted vertical for 40m and tunes on 30m, I have a STEPPIR 4 element for 20m,17m,15m 10m, and 6m on a 60 foot tower.I have 1/2 wave inverted V for 80m and 160m. My linear amplifer is the Quadra VL1000 also by Yaesu.

I am also on EQSL and hope to be active on LOTW. soon, I have a problem registering. If u can help me here,let me know. This is the wayforward as itcuts out poatage fraud and expense.

I have a keen interest in contesting and DXCC chasing. I live for the WPX and CQWW contests.I did the ARRL on 20m SSB this year and had great fun.

I also have an interest in IOTA and have activated EU006,and EU121 for the contest and EU007 for fun
