My current HF / Satellite station consists of a Yaesu FT1000MP with Heil Goldline GM5 Microphone & Ameritron AL-811 Amplifier, I use 572B tubes in my AL-811.I also use a Yaesu FT 847 mainly for Satellite, 6m & 4m with a Yaesu MD-1 Mic. HF antennas are an Optibeam OB9-5 and a G5RV.Satellite antennas are a newer homebrew design of UHF & VHF Eggbeater complete with radials for improved performance and mast head pre amps by SSB.
On digital modes I use a SignaLink USB Interface with MixW Software. I use LOGic9 logging software and TRX Manager.My Locator is IO63rr & worked all Ireland square is N97, I am W.A.I book holder 474.I am also a founding member of the Amateur Portable Group EI0Z.
