I would like to introduce now. My name is Yuri Kazakevich. I was born at 30th of November 1975 in Novopolotsk. My profession is radioengineer.

How you guess my favourite hobby is HAM-radio. It became in 1988 on UC1WWR (now EW6WR) club station at the Polotsk State University.  I got my licence for EW6BN in 1994.

I llike QRP, DX-ing, islands hunting (IOTA, IIA, etc), DXCC, WAS, /p field operation and so on. Besides HAM-radio, I like to listern broadcasting radios, music (classical, jazz, rock), read the books and computing.

RIG: YAESU FT-857D, ELECRAFT KX-1, LDG Z-100 autotuner, Z-match, home made rigs.

ANT: Delta loop 80m, 1/4 GP for 20m, for portable operation MFJ-1620, VP2E (HB9SL).

Location: QTH is Novopolotsk (QRA:KO45HM). Novopolotsk is a small town with ~110000 inhabitants situated on the bank of West Dvina river which flow in to the Baltic sea. There is approximatly 230 km northern from capital Republic of Belarus Minsk.

I prefer high bands i.e. 20, 15 and 10m CW, DIGI and QRP operation. However more pleasing is portable operation, especially from any islands. For example, expeditions by the islands of West Dvina river under the Islands of West Dvina River programm. I'm award manager.
