Click for more detail... i Folks ! I'm on the air since 1994 : first on 2 meters, then on 6 meters, mostly on portable opérations.
I'm not on the beach...but at the top of the Highest Sand Dune in Europe... 110m A.S.L : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_du_Pyla I've travelled the world a few years ago (working for a geophysical company), but never had the opportunity (or time...)to get a callsign in countries where I lived (such as 7X, 3V, A9 -Hawar Island- and 7O (for one Year)... :o(( photo Quizz : Find me in this pic ? ;o)
not a pirate...just utility HF licensed by authorities...
Now, I grow antennas for mobile operators all across western France .No more /M opérations until now... At home, I've built a 9 meters tower but it was a hard job :its easier to set a 45 meters pylon anywhere than a small rig in my wife's garden ;o))

My QSL : I've just signed a LOTW account but paper cards are still preferred ! April update : HF Yagi is DOWN. A 5 elements yagi for 6 meters is now up (triband quad for 10m, 6m, 2m will be OK in a few weeks...)
I'm also trying JT6M contacts on 50 Mhz. Mid August 09 Update : 50 Mhz antenna is now down.Back on HF in September !!!
SEPTEMBER UPDATE : Now Back 2 deca...WARC Only, with a 248A CREATE Yagi on 17 et 12m. Wishing you all the best for 2009, to you and yours. Hope to meet you on the air....
