Hello from the roof of our new house (04/2013)..... just ready (since june 2013) on 6 and 2 meters ssb (Yagi x 5 elements home made with old 27 mhz yagi souvenirs hi !!!!! and 9 elements 3.40 boom home made) ; in the back the " ABC22 " Comet 2 x 5/8 vhf .
There are my " GP ".......on the left the 4BTV (Hustler) 10/15/20/40 m 15 cms up from the ground 8 radials into the grass and on the right : the Solarcom Antron A99 on a little tower 4.00 m up from ground . I worked228 DXCC since 2009/09/07 with only 100w !!!!!!!!!!! ( cmfd 180 with paper QSL's ).
Since 07/08/2015 the A99 is replace by V dipole 730 v 1 from CREATE , not rotary for the moment.
The Antron A99 came back upper the V dipole on 16/08/2015 for test , the two antennas work very good with no difference on SWR for each , still 1.1 to 1.5 for the A99 from 21 to 28 mhz , and 1.1 to 1.4 for each band on the V dipole just on 7 mhz I had to adjust the radial from 1224 m/m to 1160 m/m with 100 khz 1.2 swr. The base antenna is 5 meters up.
V dipole CREATE 730 V 1 ( 90° position ) bearing 120-300°c + A99 on the right the 4BTV on ground.
