I have always had an interest for hamradio and after a long period as SWL, I finally took the class “B” radio exam in 1984 and I got the callsign FC1JMI. I took the class “A” Morse exam in 1987 and was issued with the callsign FD1JMI then F1JMI in 1990 and finally F5JMI since 1993.

I'm wine grower. Chateau Cabrieres is a family winery (from in-law) in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, close to Avignon, in the Rhone Valley.

I work on all HF bands, 6 meters, 2 meters to 23 centimeters from JN24jb. Currently, I don't have any installed antennas for 144, 432 and 1296 MHz.

QSL card is 100% via bureau or direct, e-qsl and LoTW.

See you soon on the air.

73s, Patrick

Equipment : I'm working on HF bands with an old FT102 + 1 kw amplifier (2x3-500Z) if needed.

Antennas : double-zep 2 x20 meters long + a horizontal loop 83 meters long (also known as loop skywire antenna).

On 6 meters band I'm using a Trx ICOM 756 pro III + 800 w amplifier (a single 3-500ZG) if needed + 5 elements Yagi.

Nothing interesting on VHF and UHF for the moment.
