Hi Old Man or Young Lady,

I was born in 1963 my lovely 60's. I'm electrician curious about radioelectricity since late 70's,
i was allowed on amateur radio frequency in 1992 firstly as FC1TCI then FD1TCI and F5TCI.

I love CW with straight key, bug & dual paddle, dashes on thumb & dots on middle finger surprise
but also active in digital modes (PSK, ROS, JT, Olivia, RTTY ...) or analog (FeldHell, SSTV) sent on
air with TS450 loaded by a Cuscraft R7 vertical antenna which works not so bad in our deep valley.
For d-mode traffic i use G4ZLP's Digital MasterPro USB Interface, CAT+ data in one & single box.
I've great interest for Whisper mode, it's fascinating to decode QRP stations (< 5W) under
K1JT's WSPR software (i transmit less than 5W) and recently i've been glad to receive J69DS
from St-Lucia isl. NA-108 on 20m with S/N -14dB, his HF power was only 3dBm, 2mW ! Nice DX !
Some days i enjoy QRP traffic with vintage CW trx: TenTec Century/22, Heathkit HW-7
& 2X trx F6BQU electronic design, 27dBm output with an optional P.A 39dBm max.
Sometimes i'm on air with my home made magnetic loop antenna (40, 30 & 20m) 6 meter girth
used indoor and occasionally i go up to some /P places with simple dipoles.
Greetings from North Alps !                                                    QSL via

"Vallée d'Aulps" unlikely DX there ?   My APRS position on map:  http://aprs.fi/?call=F5TCI&others=1
