Hi ! My name is Sébastien, "Seb" for short... I'm radioamateur since 1993, when I was previously FB1IJV (French HF novice License) and 17 years old. I became F8IJV in 1999, the 7th of January.

I'm fond of 10m band, where I'm mostly active. My favourite activity is DXing on 29 Mhz FM simplex... My personal bet is to work successfuly a 10m FM DXCC award... I'm not far to win it : I'm already with 114 DXCC confirmed by QSL cards on 10m FM simplex. I'm still waiting for few more NEW ONES (OA, TI, HK,etc.) but it's not easy to get back QSL in return, everybody is not 100% QSL(unfortunatly)... If you want a sked with me to have a 10m FM QSO, just do it ! Send me an e-mail and I'll be always very happy to work you in FM simplex... Don't be surprised if one day, during a 10m SSB QSO, I ask you if we can make a little try on FM mode hi ! ;o)

But I'm also active on all other HF bands. I work, time to time,from F6KDF radio Club in Bron, near Lyon. I'm a Lyon-DX-Gang's member. Sometimes, i work from others friend's radio station too (thanks for that to Medhi, F5PFP and Gérard,F2JD, and all the others i can forget and I hope they would forgive me... ;o) hi). And now I am in Paris, I'm looking forward a radioclub where i could operate from...

At present time, I'm not so active because of my professional situation : i just moved to PARIS since january 2006.

I'm one of the QSL managers for FR/F6KDF/T, and I can also help you to get FT5ZH QSL if you are still waiting for them (but if you are in this situation,it seems you belong to unlucky people, because we have already replied to all QSL received direct and buro for those 2 DX'peditions !). I will be quite happy to help you to get your card(s) if you still wait them.

I'm also my good friend Wangpo A51WD's QSL manager, (you can see it on QRZ.com, typing his callsign)... So I reply via direct or via buro to all people who need to confirm any contacts with my friend Wangpo A51WD. I can't do anything about e-QSL : Wangpo never asked me to answer using this way. So if you need an e-QSL, send him directly an e-mail.

And since June 2004 the 24th, I'm FO5RJ Manu's QSL manager (you can see it on QRZ.com, typing his callsign). I've just received the 3.000 nice photo QSLs from Ottavio, IK1PML, last week. I've already replied to ALL DIRECT QSLs received since June 2004 (more than 220), and all QSL received via buro are ready to be sent too (around 40). Manu manages directly his e-QSL cards : so for any requests about e-QSL, just contact him directly ;o)

I'm 100% QSL, via direct or buro. Note that my old address (26 lotissement Préverger, Lieu-dit "La Butte", 38570 LA PIERRE) is still ok, but it's my parent's one, so mail should take more time to be replied than if you write me direct to my new address in Paris...

I pay a special attention to SWL's QSL cards confirming my QSO's reception report : I usualy answer them via direct, even when the QSL is received via buro, of course if it's not hundreds of QSL ! ;o) (I've also been a S.W.L. before being radioamateur, so I know the difficulties sometimes to get back QSL... and the happyness when you got it, finally !). But i want to precise that unfortunatly, I can not do it for the SWL cards received for the DX station i manage... Or i would have to sell the few things i have in my life to pay all necessary stamps to reply hi hi !

A last precision for DIRECT QSL sendings to DX stations I manage :

One IRC (new) or 1 US $ is ok for a sending from FRANCE to EUROPE up to 2 QSLs ;

One IRC (new) or 2 US $ are ok for a sending from FRANCE to the rest of the WORLD up to 2 QSLs. Note than now, 1 US $ is exactly today 0,7443 €, and a stamp for a sending from France to the rest of the world costs 0.90 €...

So, all direct QSLs received with old IRCs or without new IRC or without sufficient US $ will be automatically replied VIA BURO. I've already replied direct to few OM who didn't enclose sufficient contribution with their cards, but i'm not Rockefeller (unfortunatly), so now, I decided to stop being comprehensive because i start to receive frequently more and more cards in this situation ... ;o)
