My name is Ricky and my QTH is Southport but i'm originally from Liverpool and I also hold the Callsign G1VWL .

I QSL via LOTW , eQSL.cc , HAMLOG , Direct upon receipt and also thru the bureau 100%.

I run a Yaesu FT-1000MP MkV 200w with SP-8 on 160m 80m 60m 40m 30m 20m 17m 15m 12m & 10m as my main SSB set, i also run an Ameritron AL-811 HXCE Linear Amplifier thru the MkV. The antennas are Comet H-422, a Rotary dipole for 12m & 17m, a Western HF-10 and a wire dipole for 60m 

I have a Kenwood TS-2000 for VHF and UHF all Modes thru a Diamond X510 vertical

I use an Icom IC-746 thru a 9 element beam for VHF SSB

I have  Kenwood TS-480HX 200w for HF data modes and CW

The auto atu is the IC-AT500

I use an Icom IC-7100 for 4m & 6M thru a dual band 4 element innovantennas beam and also into my DSTAR gateway MB6ISP which i also access from my IC-92d and IC-31E handies around and about.

I also run a IC-E2820 for DSTAR in the shack.

The DSTAR gateway runs thru my Kenwood TM-V7 and DVRPTR modem which connects via a Raspberry PI into the network and also a Raspberry PI with DVMEGA for UHF access locally.

also in the shack are a Kenwood R2000 Gen Cov receiver and Bearcat BCT51X close call scanner.

everything is linked into the internet and logged via Logger32 via 3 x PC machines with four monitors.

various microphone are used inc the Heil pro set Plus and Kenwood MC-60 base mic.

the data is via the G4ZLP & M0AQC interfaces.
