Got my licence in South Africa some 25 years back, and still enjoy the radio.

Operate 50-50 cw and phone with some digital, but prefer ssb. Here running FT950, FT847 and old DrakeL4B amp. Antennas, rotary dipole for 40-10m (comet H422), home brew 12 element yagi for 2m, 5 element home brew yagi for 6 meters, 2 element hb9cv for 4 meters,27 element for 70cm's and at present a 40m loop hanging in the trees at about 15 meters high.

During the summer, I put the beams on the tower for VHF-UHF and rely on the 40m loop and windom for HF. Just added a 3 element 6 meter quad.

QSLvia EQSL. or Direct is fine, and will respond directly.

Thanks for popping by,,,,,,Owen,,,,,,G0NCE

6 meter quad

6 meter Yagi, 2 meter yagi, 4 meter HB9CV, 2 meter slim Jim all home brew
