Got my licence in South Africa, Circa 1978, and still enjoy the radio.
Operate 50-50 cw and phone with some digital, but prefer ssb. Here running FT 847, IC71OO,home brew top band AM transceiver. Home brew amplifiers for HF and 2 and 6 meters.
Antennas, rotary dipole for 40-10m (comet H422), 60 meter doublet with openwire feeder that gets used for top band as a marconi T.
A home brew 7 element yagi for 2m, , 4 element home brew yagi for 6 meters. 40 meter loop in the trees behind my garden, various bits of wire in the trees for experimental tests!
During the summer, I put the beams on the tower for VHF-UHF and rely on a 40m loop for HF. The quad gets mounted when the 6 meter band opens.
QSLvia EQSL. or Direct is fine, and will respond directly.
