Got my licence in South Africa some 25 years back, and still enjoy the radio.

Operate 50-50 cw and phone with some digital, but prefer ssb. Here running Fdx3000, FT847  home brew top band AM transceiver and a Ranger 811H amp,,,.Sagra 2m amp, and home brew 400w 6 meter amp.

Antennas, rotary dipole for 40-10m (comet H422),  60 meter flat top with openwire feeder that gets used for top band as a marconi T  and other bands.

A home  brew 12 element yagi for 2m, or 8 element crossed yagi 2 meters, 4 element home brew yagi for 6 meters, During the summer, I put the beams on the tower for VHF-UHF and rely on a 40m loop for HF. The quad gets mounted when the 6  meter band opens.

QSLvia EQSL. or Direct is fine, and will respond directly.

Thanks for popping by,,,,,,Owen,,,,,,G0NCE
