Ive been interested in Radio Communication from the age of 15 when AM/11 was all the rage. Now at 49 i find it a real pleasure to be out in our lovely country side on a nice day playing radio and being able to talk around the world under my own steam with a FT897D & ATX-Hi Power Vert. Other than that I'll sit at home in my radio room and Work my Icom 775-DSP Or Kenwood Ts870s {Now having a rest),Alinco DX70TH/FL-2100B/TAU 3000 Super Tuner on HF & Hopefully in the Near future use my Heathkit HW-5400 + HWA-5400 PSU,CLOCK,SPEAKER + HM-2140. Into either the full size G5RV for 80 or a half size G5RV for 40Mtrs & a SandPiper 160Mtr dipole CP-6 that covers 80,40,20,15,10, & 6MTs (Works a Treat) & a W-2000 on 6Mtrs & a Diamond X-50 on 2&70Cms a A-99 for 10Mtr & on 2 my radio Is FT1500 for base and a Kenwood TH-79E for /P Installed a 20 Element x2=40 Elements 105MHz to 1.2Gig Log Periodic for 2/70Cms & a 8 Element x2=16 Elements 50MHz to 1.3Gig Log Periodic for 4Mtrs & 6Mtrs Both Create Logs. Icom's Ic575A,Ic575H & Ic275E. Look forward to working you sometime maybe in the future All the best from Lancashire N.W. UK.
