I have been retired for 25 years and now spend my time travelling the world as a wildlife photgrapher. Please visit my web site www.g3oca.co.uk to see some of my photgraphs.

I was licensed in 1960 and spent the first 25 years of operation on cw. I joined the army straight from university and spent my service life as a signals intelligence officer retiring with the rank of major.I taught mathermatics for a few years before I finally finished working full time. I have been a DX chaser all my amatur life and have been fortunate enough to have worked and had confirmed all the DXCC entities. I have activated several new and rare IOTA island groups and have worked 1030 island groups so far. My station is fairly simple. TS870S-LINEAR AMP -running about 400watts ANT. 2 ELEMENT YAGIS AT 35ft FULL SIZE LOOPS FOR 30M AND 40M at 35ft 80m DIPOLE On 6m I use my 30m LOOP I am fortunate to live on top of a hill 400ft high with a layer of clay below the surface which holds the water and gives my excellent earth reflections I collect pefixes and have over 4000 confirmed. I am still QSL manager for my expeditions as well as for EL2DK and EL2WK and I would be happy to act as QSL MANAGER FOR EXPEDITION OR RARE COUNTRY OPERATOR.
