Married to G7BSP (Sybil) who claims the only reason she took a licence was to talk to me!

I served in the Royal Air Force from 1961 to 2000. Originally working on Ground based electronic installations,in 1976 I was commissioned and moved into the electronic and mechanical maintenance of aircraft. Between 76 and my retirement in 2000 I worked with the RAF Vulcan, VC10 and Tristar fleets. I also managed to spend time running the RAF training facillity teaching Avionics and Flight Line operations!!

I have been licenced as: VS9OC (1965), G3VAO from 1966, 9V1OE and 9V0OE (1968-70), VS9MF (1971), 9V1SN and 9V0SN (1973-75).

Now that I have retired, my other hobby (Golf) has had more attention and I no longer stand to close to the ball (after I have hit it!!)
