Keen 160m DX-er from a small surburban city lot. Interested mainly in CW. Looking for ways of fighting noise using tuned and untuned loops. The Tx antenna is a 3/8 wavelength inverted L up at 85 feet, tuned against 20 buried radials and about 20 sq metres of wire mesh at the base. Antenna is used on all HF bands via a Smart Tuner. Also have delta loop for 40m fed with 450 ohm tuned line and a Palstar Z-match. Main rig: K3 (S/N 225). Acom 1000 linear amplifier.
