First licenced in August 1971 as G8FCY (VHF only). Full licence obtained in January 1974.

Now very active on HF, enjoying DXing and ragchews on Phone and Data-modes.

Rigs at present are :- FT2000 + Quadra amp and an FT897. Antennas are an A3s tribander and half-wave dipoles for LF. Sometimes I use WW2 Military TX/RXs such as 19-sets on 80mtr AM.

I am a member of RSGB, CDXC, RSARS (4145), EPC (2816 EN21), RAYNET, HERC, BSARS, BARTG(8761), Feld-Hell (FH 3745) and HRH (Hospital Radio Hastings).

I am QSL manager for the following calls :- G6HH, G1HHH, G2LL
