My old home card shows Sheffield United FC, the local football (soccer) team that my family support. Sheffield United won promotion to the English Premier League from August 2006. Unfortunately, what goes up must come down, and Sheffield Utd are now back in the Football Championship! My son Ben and I have season tickets. My daughter Anna holds the callsign M3HEE and Ben is M3XBT.

My main HF rig is a Yaesu FT2000 with a Yaesu Linear - 400Watts. My aerials include dipoles for 80 metres and 40 metres and a 2 element hygain TH2 for 20, 15 and 10 metres. I am mostly active on CW - trying to improve!

I am a member of WACRAL (the World Association of Christian Radio Amateurs and Listeners) with membership number 393. Listen out for the Sunday morning net at 08:00 UK local time on 3.747MHz.

My WAB (Worked all Britain) square is SK38.

I am an Electrical Engineer by profession and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology - the UK professional institution for Electrical Engineers. Professionally I have very little involvement with radio - so this really is a hobby interest.
