QSL manager for various calls - please see individual QRZ.COM listings.

Bureau cards are very welcome.

For direct QSLs please send a self-addressed envelope with US$2 direct to my home address, and I will send a card directly to you.

The following logs are uploaded to LoTW: 7Q7NT, G2AS, G3RCM, G4FAL, M0HDG, M3W, MM3M, V47CD, V4/G4FAL, VP2MCC - so although I would be delighted to send you a glossy paper QSL card, if you only need it for DXCC then you can make a significant contribution to saving the planet by choosing the more ecologically friendly LoTW option.

My old home card shows Sheffield United FC (the Blades), who are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. The Blades play at BDTBL (beautiful down-town Bramall Lane). Of course, supporting such a splendid team does have to take priority over amateur radio on rare occasions.

My daughter Anna holds the callsign M3HEE and son Ben is M3XBT.

My main HF rig is a Yaesu FT2000 with a Yaesu Linear - 400Watts. My aerials include dipoles for 160, 80 and 40 metres and a 2 element hygain TH2 for 20, 15 and 10 metres. I am mostly active on CW - struggling to improve!

I am a member of WACRAL (the World Association of Christian Radio Amateurs and Listeners) with membership number 393. Listen out for the Sunday morning net at 08:00 UK local time on 3.747MHz.

My WAB (Worked all Britain) square is SK38.

I am an Electrical Engineer by profession and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology - the UK professional institution for Electrical Engineers. Professionally I have very little involvement with radio - so this really is a hobby interest.

See the Sheffield Amateur Radio Club website for more details of amateur radio activity in our city.
