Served in Active Service in S.E.Asia and Middle East.
Built my first radio aged 10. A one valve (tube) battery driven RX, using components from a broken set.

Long time as SWL from age 9 to getting licence.

Extensive Ocean sailing (1978 - 2006) in my own yacht, "PATRIOT" a 6 berth Bermudan sloop. (Now sold!)
One time sailing journalist for Sailing Today magazine. Now retired:
Education Adviser to UK and various other Governments. (1980 - 2000)
