THE CALL WAS ORIGINALLY HELD BY ONE OF THE EARLIEST MEMBERS OF THE BITTERN DX GROUP, GEORGE EDWARDS, G6IPU, WHO DIED ON 14TH APRIL 2007. HIS SON, DAVID, M0CNP, HAS AGREED TO TRANSFER THE CALL TO THE BITTERN DX GROUP, AS THIS I AM SURE WOULD HAVE BEEN HIS WISH.

BITTERN DXers will use this call sign mainly in contests, particularly VHF/UHF, along with their other call signs M0NBG/P and G2B.

Look out for us in all the major RSGB and International contests, as well as special events when we use many call signs appropriate to the event.
