Hi, I am Keith, G6TWR and my locator is IO91QM, 20 odd miles sw of London near Bisley in Surrey, UK. Equipment here is an Icom 7600 and Icom 7000. Acom 1000with a Palstar AT1KP tuner to a g5rv at about 35 ft high. I also have 2mtrs and 70cms with which in the 1980's I was able to work many stations worldwide via the famed Oscar 10. I am now retired after serving 30 years in the Police Force having spent most of my time as a dog handler and later a dog training instructor, teaching new handlers. My wife Jan is a serving police officer and she is on the dog section and works 2 dogs. The general purpose dog is called Ozzy and weighs in at 98 lbs, a big lad. She also works a passive and pro-active drugs trained Lab called Falcon. She is due to retire after 30 years service on the very day the Olympics start in 2012.My other hobby is fly fishing and my xyl is also a keen fly fisher. On retiring I spent many hours fishing for salmon and brown trout in Scotland, best brown trout was 8lbs and best salmon a 22lb springer from the Waulkmill beat on the river Tay. 73 and good dx.
