Hello! I am retired from the Police service. I now work part time in the local High School covering for absent teachers. I am married with 5 kids - 3 youngest are still at school and living with us.

I live on a Hill top (Clee Hill, Shropshire) not far short of 1500 feet ASL

. I am enjoying getting back into Radio after a break for a few years. I have an older Kenwood TS870sand cushcraft A3S tribander beam on a Scam pump up mast. Currently running HRD for logbook, QRZ and DX cluster etc. Making antennas is another interest of my mine.

March 2012- just finished building dual bander for 17m and 12m.4 elements. Single 50ohm feed to 17m driven element and open sleeve coupling to 12m element. 1;1 balun and located 2m above tribander. Useful gain -about 4.5db on each band. Working well :-)
