Click for more detail... Special event station GB2BP is located in the Bletchley Park Museum, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and run by the Milton Keynes Amateur Radio Society. Bletchley Park remained a secret for over 30 years and was the world’s first large scale code breaking centre including German Enigma, Lorenz and Japanese codes. Today the Bletchley Park is open to the general public and features Bombe machine, world’s first computer “Colossus”, Enigma machine and much much more. GB2BP amateur radio station is operated by the members of the Milton Keynes Amateur Radio Society during most weekends and public holidays using HF, VHF, UHF, ATV, data, including SSB and CW modes. The shack was fully refurbished in 2007 and complete with 3 element beam and G5RV. Visitors to GB2BP (on production of a valid amateur radio licence) are very welcome to use the station as a guest operator. QSL cards are available for all radio contacts.
