Welcome to our special event station GB5SPD

The Foyle and District Amateur Radio Club (callsign MN0AKU) have been issued a Special Event call sign. GB5SPD . This is to celebrate SAINT PATRICK'S DAY as an annual event

We are on the air to celebrate this event from March 15th until March 18th Each year. . All contacts will receive the above QSL card. Reports from swl's are also most welcome and will also recieve the qsl card by return post/bureau.

Operating conditions are: : ICOM IC7400, Ameritron amplifier, 400W approx. Cushcraft X7 beam, working mainly on 20, 40 and 80 metres as conditions allow.

The Club is located approx 5 miles south from Derry City, on the banks of the River Foyle, and 10 miles North of Strabane and can be contacted using the email address below.
