Icom 756 Pro III, ACOM 1000 Linear, 266ft Doublet @ 55ft. 80M dipole @ 55ft 40 Rotary dipole @40ft

PLEASE NOTE THAT I ONLY QSL DIRECT. ALL DIRECT CARDS ARE ANSWERED 100% PROVIDING THEY INCLUDE A SAE AND SUFFICIENT RETURN POSTAGE. CARDS RECEIVED WITHOUT A SAE OR POSTAGE WILL NOT . . . REPEAT NOT, AND I REPEAT NOT BE REPLIED TO.

PLEASE RE-READ THE ABOVE AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND IT.

I AM STILL GETTING CARDS WITH NO ENVELOPE OR POSTAGE. THEY ARE ALL IGNORED.

My address is :-

"George's Nest" 131 Gobbins Road, Islandmagee, Larne, County Antrim, BT40 3TX, North Ireland

IF I NEED YOUR CARD I WILL SEND IT DIRECT WITH SAE AND IRC or Dollar Bills (Your Choice). I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO FINANCE MY HOBBY.

I do however require a card in return and will pester you or your QSL Manager until I get one. Amateur Radio should NOT be used as a revenue generating project.

The reason for this is that to send QSL cards routinely would be very expensive and to send a card for everyone received from the bureau is prohibitive. I am not a member of the RSGB so therefore cannot send cards via this route.

I require very few cards but if you need my card, I am more than happy to send you one but ONLY if you need it. If you need it you will send yours direct. If you don't need it you'll not bother (Get my point ?).

I am a retired Senior Ambulance Officer( A certain Welsh Station failed to recognize that Emergency Services do actually use radio as a means of communication and sent several very offensive e-mails to me on this matter), aged 60 and moved to Northern Ireland from the South East of England in 2001.

Main interest in radio is on 160,80 and 40 metres phone and BPSK31 on all bands. I am also a Beta Tester for Ham Radio Deluxe, the ultimate Rig Control / Logging program for Amateur Radio.

Member of the ARRL, CDXC, RAOTA and The Beaneaters DX Group but NOT the RSGB . . . I wonder why ????.

My QTH is on a peninsula called Islandmagee and is surrounded by water on all sides. The Irish Sea to the East and North. Larne Lough to the West and Belfast Lough to the South. I am 350ft up on the Gobbins Cliffs and at night can see 7 Lighthouses.
