Click for more detail... First licenced in July 1969. First couple of years spent with a homebrew 10 watt transmitter for 160 & 80m CW only before progressing to commercial equipment. Currently using FT1000MP/TL922 into a Hygain TH3 3 el triband antenna for 20/15/10 and a Cushcraft D3W dipole for 30/17/12 mounted on a 12m Tennamast. Keen interest in chasing DX on LF/HF bands and also contest operating. Gained DXCC in 1979 and 5 band DXCC in 1984 now 9 bands 160 through 10m. Countries confirmed 333 mixed all-time, 174 SSB all-time 330 CW all-time. Band totals confirmed are 160m 134, 80m 214, 40m 243, 30m 238, 20m 276, 17m 242, 15m 250, 12m 198, 10m 216.
