First licenced in July 1969. First couple of years spent with a homebrew 10 watt transmitter for 160 & 80m CW only before progressing to commercial equipment. Currently using FT-1000MP+Acom 1000amplifierinto a Mosley TA-53-M antenna for 20/17/15/12/10m with TA-30-KR conversion for 30m mounted on a 12m Tennamast. Keen interest in chasing DX on LF/HF bands and also contest operating.

Gained DXCC in 1979 and 5 band DXCC in 1984 now 9 bands 160 through 10m.

Countries confirmed, all-time/current, Mixed - 349/334, SSB- 286/279, CW- 345/334.

Band totals confirmed, all-time/current are160m - 134/130, 80m - 230/224, 40m - 267/260, 30m - 293/288, 20m - 314/303, 17m - 297/292, 15m - 297/290, 12m - 259/255, 10m - 260/254.
