Operating position at GM4KGK - September 2012

Change of QSL policy (see below)

First licensed as G4KGK in 1980. GM4KGK from 18 Sep 2002.

Main interests are: CW (99%), Digital Modes and Weather Satellite reception.

Station located about 10km East of the town of Stornoway on the Island of Lewis (IOTA = EU-010).

HF Equipment: Elecraft K3 + KPA500 amplifier and P3 Panadaptor.

Antenna: Butternut HF9-V ground mounted vertical for 10-80m (80 radials). Home made GP for 17 mtrs.

Retired in 2002 after 42 years working as a Radar Engineer and Operations Manager with the UK Meteorological Service.

QSL Policy

Following changes at the RSGB, I will NOT receive QSL cards via the Bureau. Any cards sent via the RSGB Bureau will be destroyed and will not reach me.

My logs are uploaded to LogBook of the World (LOTW) and eQSL.cc at the end of each month and I am happy send cards direct if requested. Please enclose $1 for Europe ($2 outside Europe) or one IRC with self addressed envelope.
