I was born in 1945 in a small village-Kissitke- in western Hungary.

Initially I worked as an engineer in my home country, then ,after 1990-I moved to Germany and worked at the Eastern European division of an international company for 22 years as a trade director until my retirement.

I obtained my radio amateur licence in 1971 and my call sign was given to me by a famous Hungarian radio amateur for respectful preservation (ex HA1VG=Gubanyi Janos-dead.).

Due to being so far away from home for work for many years, I could not spend much time with my hobby. However, now I have the opportunity to start again. I take much pleasure in all new contacts be it in German, Russian, English or CW.

I am a sender of QSL cards 100% of the time, and I collect DX QSL cards.

My equipment includes IC7700,IC 756 Pro II,FT 897 D and I work exclusively with 100 W. and sometimes with amplifier Typ HA2SB-1 kW.

My antenna right now is G5RV and Windom made from DM2LI . On 144 Mhz 8 el.Yagi-Wisi and  on 6 m F9FT Yagi.

I'm member of Croatian Telegraphy Club Nr.CTC.2.978..

I hope to meet You on the bands and hope to establish friendships with people of all nations.
