First introduction to ham radio was in Veszprém at the age of 11 years. HA2SV Béla the head of the radio club had been teaching hundreds of kids for the basics of ham radio. He was able to find the right balance between morse, theoretical basics and the needed success in construction work in order to keep the kids on the board. At the age of ~40 I still do the same hobby and being very greatfully to him.

Working in the bands is all about fun so I do not work with DX only and do not care how many times you are in my log; I am happy to answer your call anyway. So if you hear me feel free to call. smiley

I am active mostly on HF bands and as a member of HA2R contest team I work on VHF contests too.
The rig is an FTDX 5000 and vertical antennas for 40m and above.

Qsl policy:Preferred way is eqsl.cc. Paper cards via buro or direct will be sent only for request. SAE and 2 USD for direct requests is appreciated.

I live in a small village Szentkirályszabadja; 5km from Veszprém, approximately 5 km from lake Balaton and around 15km from the hills of Bakony.
