QSL image for HA5AJZ

Welcome to all who are visiting this page!

My name is Attila and was born in 1934 in Budapest, Hungary.
My hobby with the radio started while I was in the army radio service from 1954 to 1956.
Last year I got my swl callsign like HA5-2704.
From 1957 I was an operator of the club station HA5KBP. This station was early contest station like Hungarian Central Radio Club. We had thousands of QSO and there were many awards on the wall. Of course only in AM and CW.
The hobby was interrupted in 1961, due to marriage and other hobies as music, ice hockey and lawn hockey. After that I finished my studies as mechanical engeneer.
We found a radio club at the company where I used to work (Hungarian Oil and Gas Designing Office) in 1968 with the callsign HA5KHC.
Due to the privatization in 1990 the club was relocated to the Telecommunications Technical College

„Theodore Puskas”
where it is still working today.
My current callsign was issued in 1981.

Currently I'm working just a mini station via satellite:
-uplink 2 mtr FT290+Daiwa PA 25 W and a simple 5/8 GP by Daimond up 25 m on the top of the roof. SSB and CW too.
-downlink 70 cm FUNcube Domgle Pro SDR receiver and a simple J antenna from the window.

FUNcube Domgle Pro SDR receiver with Firmware: 18j

It is my home-made J from the window. The antenne is absolute vertical only the shotting is distorted.

FUNcube Domgle Pro SDR frequency Control and Spectra Vue Ver. 3.27

My location is in the city and some time I have very strong local QRM by car safety system, alarm system etc on 70 cm.

In this time I am using a WebSDR receiver from UK.

This is a VHF/UHF WebSDR receiver by Southampton University Wireless Society.                                                                 http://tempsdr.suws.org.uk:82/

The tuning is not too easy because the
Doppler effect is different between Farnham  and Budapest. I apologize for the incorrect calls.

Sorry, I am not member of Hungarian Radioamateur Society so no QSL via the bureau please.

mni 73's for all

Attila
