Hello and thanks for looking me up. My name is George. I live in Csepel island in Budapest. This island is surrounded by River Danube, and located in the southern part of the city.

I have been interested in electronics and radios since my childhood. I got admitted to a highschool, where the Csepel Radio Club was working. I became a club member in 1977. The call signs of the club were: HA5KKG, HA5KHG, HA5KND, HG19HB.

I've had my callsign since 1982. I was very radioactive at that time. I took part in some DX-Peditions, and lots of contests from various contest stations. Then I got married and became a bit inactive.

Recently I am getting closer to my hobby again, as my children grow up and I have more and more time.

My main interests are: DX-ing, Contesting, Collecting DXCC - CQ - IOTA awards.

Meanwhile my favorite mode is CW, I'm active on digital modes lately.

I'm member of HADXC, HACWG, A1 op, 30MDG Clubs, and HG7T contest team.

Other than amateur radio, my interests include a variety of Hiking, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.

My station comprises of Kenwood TS-590, Inverted Vee and Cushcraft R7 aerials.

CU in the air!
