form 1 September 2007 the Swiss Post accepts 1 IRC as sufficient postage for a priority mail to a country outside of Europe (if the IRC has been sold in a non European country).

The military aviation museum "Clin d'Ailes" has been founded by the 5th Squadron (5ème escadrille) and ‘Espace Passion’ in April 2003 and is located in Payerne Switzerland.

The museum founder members wanted radio to be a major element of the exhibition in the Air Force museum. This has been done by setting up the amateur radio station HB4FR created by Herbert Aeby HB9BOU and his amateur radio friends working on the Payerne military air base.

The club station HB4FR, operated by the « " Clin d'Ailes ", Swiss Air Force Museum HAM Radio Club », is USKA member (Union of Swiss Short Wave Amateurs), and part of the museum organization.
