My name is Rigoberto, -nickname is Rig- and my QTH is in Santo Domingo capital city of the beautiful Dominican Republic. I’ve been a ham

operator since 1977. I enjoy DXing, make friends, and experiment with antennas and enjoy listening a good quality audio or ESSB station. I am very active in most of the bands depending on propagations, one of my favorites bands is 40 meters.

Mi nombre es Rigoberto y mi QTH es en Santo Domingo, capital de la preciosa Republica Dominicana. He sido radioaficionado desde el 1977. Disfruto el Dxismo, hacer amigos y experimentar con antennas. Disfruto escuchar estaciones con buena calidad de audio conocido como ESSB. Estoy activo en la mayoria de las bandas dependiendo de las propagaciones, una de mis bandas favoritas es 40 metros.

I enjoy the good audio and also experimenting with this audio gears -, but I am not too crazy about the wideband over the 3 KHz, I find more pleasant to listen to a rich and natural sounding station.

After many years in radio, I still enjoy an interesting QSO and rag chewing about technical issues, experimenting with antennas, and playing audio gear. It is so pleasant to listen to a balanced and good quality audio sounding station.

You might or might not agree with me, but one thing I've noticed is that with time you become more selective to get on the air or you listen more than what you talk.

Most of the times I run the FT-2000D with the external audio chain -rack-, but for DX and some other times I use the

Heil PR-40 directly to the transceiver since this radio has a great Parametric Equalizer wich produces a great quality audio.

Mayormente transmito con una cadena de audio externa -rack- conectada al FT-2000D, pero para DX y en algunas ocasiones uso el microfono Heil PR-40 conectado directamente ya que el FT-2000 cuenta con un excelente equalizador parametrico que produce una exclente calidad de audio.
