Hello Hams:Iwas born in Barranquilla in 1949,I've been a ham since 1976 and my first radio was a Yaesu FT101E. Over the years I've owned quite a few different HF rigs including Drakes, Swans etc,plus a variety of modern solid state rigs including the TS 430,TS 440,TS930,TS940,TS850 by Kenwood and FT 757GXII,FT 840,FT990 by Yaesu also IC735,IC751A,IC737,IC 706MKII by Icom,plus a few that I'cant recall at the moment.My favorite radio for look and feel was the TS830S Kenwood,and for perfomance it has been a toss up between several of them.My principal duty is DX station around the world and work contest.
