I was first licensed in 1966 as I1GAD - SWL (I1-11247) and member of the Italian Radio Amateur

Association (ARI) since 1963. Member of ARRL since 2013.

Antennas & BBQ :  4 El. SteppIR at 15 meters for 6 to 20 mt -  Optibeam OB1- 4030 rotary dipole for  30/40 mt - inverted v

dipoles  for 80/160 mt -   The brand new  Big Verical Inverted L 80/160 mt

My actual home rig setup: Elecraft K3-100 - P3 - SPE Expert 2K FA - Palstar AT-AUTO Tuner

(for 80mt) - MicroHAM MicroKeyer II. On the upper level : the ICOM IC-7100  ( that replaced

the TS-480, my first remote rig ) - SPE 1K FA

Like the ICOM IC-7100, also the Elecraft K3 can be operated locally or remote thanks to the new

implementation of Microbit RemoteRig RRC 1258 K3 Twin (on top of P3).

The SPE Expert 1K-FA is shared between the brand new IC-7100 (who took the place of the

TS-480 as spare rig for remote operations), and the Elecraft K3, both hocked to a Microbit

RRC 1258MkII controller.

My remote setup: Elecraft K3/0, RRC Controller and PC running TRX Manager for CW, SSB

and FSK operations.

My preferred key paddles : BENCHER Iambic Paddle, VIBROPLEX Vibrokeyer Deluxe,

BEGALI Pearl and Traveller Light

A piece of telegraphy history : the VIBROPLEX Original Bug sn. 92317 - year 1924

My very minimal remote setup as SM0/I4GAD in Stockholm, where I spend quite long time

visiting my son and my grand children.

In this remote location, the Elecraft K3-0 mini and the Vibroplex Brass Racer Iambic paddle.

The new IC-7100, a wide spectum remote rig, from UHF/VHF to 160 meters (through a wifi connection).
