I’m from Naples, My interest on the electronic field started when i was really young thus lead me at the end of 60s to be fascinated by radio transmission in OC 'broadcasting' with sending reports of listening, I performed an intense SWL activity.

At the beginning of 70s, I finished to study Electronic at school and I started to work in a big company as quality control technic in the research laboratories for big accumulator of energy used for the phone centrals and the Italian marine army submarines.

In the middle 70s, I became close to the amateur communication, I was so enthusiastic that I got the radio amateur license with the call I8QJU.

After few years a dear friend of mine, Umberto "IK8DUH – SK", became radio amateur too and we experienced together using a lot of different forms of communication with old and obsolete radios recovered from army materials. Those years were full of ham spirit based on auto construction and exchange of experiences with other radio-amateurs

At the end of 70s, I started to work for a railway company, I supervise the maintenance of transmission systems onboard trains and the maintenance in general.

In the last years I had more free time to dedicate to the DX I got prestigious awards "DXCC-CHALLENGER – DXCC HR – 5BDXCC – 5BWAZ – 5BWAC - WPX – IOTA – RDA – WAP ".

In the future, my goal is to replace the antennas "park" and take care of new frequency (4- 6- 160 m), neglected because of antenna and space lack.
