Originally licensed as IWØCQX in 1987, I now hold the call IKØXIH from 1994. I live in the central Italy, my town called LATINA and it's 66km SE from Rome capital city.
My equipment comprises of a new Yaesu FTDX-5000MP and Kenwood TS-2000/E transceivers Inrad mod.
The HF/50MHz Linear amp is a SPE Expert 1K-FA.
I use an Kenwood TM-V7E for packet mode (1200 & 9600bps), in the car for 2M & 70cm when mobile. Also use a Kenwood THF-7E portable when out and about.
I am active on 160M to 70cm all modes and Satellite.
My antennas are, on tower about 22mt. with Prosistel PST-61D: 160M: homebrew 1/2 wave inverted vee dipole. 80M/30M: homebrew delta loop full size. 40M,20M,17M,15M,12M and 10M: Optibeam OB13-6. 70CM: 2x39el Yagi beam with a boom of 9,5mt., made in Italy by IØJXX.
On tower about 15mt. with Yaesu G-1000DXC: 6M: 7 el Yagi beam with a boom of 9,5mt., made in Italy by IØJXX. 2M: 2x16el Yagi beam with a boom of 9,5mt., made in Italy by IØJXX. 2M/70CM: Diamond X-300 colinear for V/UHF FM.
Only for low band (160M & 80M), I used for RX a K9AY antenna double loop with a lot of satisfation!
I also used, for 2M SSB-operation, PRE Microset PRH145 and for 70cm Microset PRH430 with PA Tokio-Hi power HL-250UFX.
Coaxial line are with H-1000 Belden/FMC from 160M to 6M and 2M/70CM colinear, Cellflex LCF 1/4" for 2M Yagi and Cellflex LCF 1/2" for 70CM Yagi antenna, Prospecta RG-58MIL for K9AY antenna.
