I was born on December 24, 1950 in Trieste,I have two children Ilaria and Maurizio. I began my first radio activitie in 1983, my first Call was: IW1PPL. Since then, I performed VHF activities in 144 Mhz e 432 Mhz I have a passion for radio assistance in Runopener Rally Race.
From October 20, 1984 my callsign is IK1DFH (Full License 1 CEPT).My prevalent activity is HF on RTTY and SSB, Contesting, DXing,Portable. I also like hunting for reference of Italian Castle (DCI) and Italia Flora Fauna Award (IFFA), when I have time I am an Activator.

I obtained Awards DXCC Phone #40.832 ,WAC Phone + Rtty ,QCA Rtty n447,DCI n362 ,WAIP Vhf ,DCI Top Honour Roll Hunters n60 ,DCI Top Honour Roll Activators n50 ,WFF n055 , WFF-EUROPE n258/III , WFF-IFFA n 14 ,WFF-SPFF-H n055 , WFF-RFF n032, WFF-URFF n037, WFF-LZFFA n059/III,I,WFF-9AFF-I n12,WFF-ERFF-I n29,WFF-FFF 15 n12,WFF-ONFF-II n2,WFF-YOFF n218,WCA 2000 n4,WCAA n49,DCE-1.0 N49,D.V.G.E. N422,WWFF A N25,WWFF H N1.

At the moment, my station is composed of Yaesu FT1000MP MARK-V, Kenwood TS450S, Icom IC7000 with LDG tuner (which mainly use when I'm in mobile in my car), antenna GAP TITAN DX that cover from 28 to3.5 Mhz including WARC band, Dipole Fritzel Multiband W3DZZ 7.0 e3.5 Mhz, Ampli Drake L7 (2kW) that I use almost exclusively in the DX pile-up. In portable activities for the activation of DCI together with Icom IC7000 as above, I use the Diamond HM6 cover from 28 to 7 Mhz antenna mounted on a magnetic base and dipole multiband.
The QSL are sent through the ARI bureau, LoTW and also electronicQSL via eQSL.cc which is an optimal post-contest verifyng system also during various activities to control the logs to check for any errors performed while digitating the call, with consequent penalization of the QSO. Tnx for a QSO
