I'm born on December 24, 1950 in Trieste.  Began my first radio activities in 1983, my first Call: IW1PPL. Since then, i performed VHF activities in 144 Mhz e 432 Mhz.  I have a passion for  radio assistance in Runopener  Rally Race.

                              

 

From October 20, 1984 the callsign IK1DFH (Full License 1 CEPT).  My prevalent activity is HF on RTTY and SSB, Contesting, DXing,Portable. Another preference of mine is hunting for reference of Italian Castle (DCI) and Italia Flora Fauna Award (IFFA), when I have time, I am an Activator.

I have obtained Awards DXCC Phone #40.832,  WAC on Phone Rtty ,  QCA Rtty ,  DCI n°362,  WAIP Vhf , DCI Top Honour Roll Hunters N°60 , DCI Honour Roll Activators N°75, WFF-EUROPE  n°258/III,WFF- IFFA n° 14.

At the moment, my station is composed of Yaesu FT1000MP MARK-V, Kenwood TS450S, Icom IC7000 with LDG tuner (which  mainly use when I'm in mobile in my car), antenna Cushcraft Vertical R5 that cover from 28 to 14 Mhz including WARC band, Dipole Fritzel Multiband W3DZZ 3.5 e 7.0 Mhz, Ampli Drake L7 (2kW) that almost exclusively use in the DX pile-up. In portable activities in the activation of DCI together with Icom IC7000 as above,  use the Diamond HM6 cover from 28 to 7 Mhz antenna mounted on a magnetic base.

The QSL are sent through the ARI bureau, LoTW and also send electronicQSL via eQSL.cc which believe is an optimal post-contest verifyng system or various activities to control the logs to check for any errors performed while digitating the call, with consequent penalization of the QSO.
