Located in the Magical environment of the Venice Lagoon, Italy, Our Club Station is the result of the tough work of many people.

The Laguna Veneta Contest Team is mainly focused on the VHF European Contests, and can count on the precious collaboration with the local ARI Section of Marcon, which is the owner of the Callsign we used in the past years: IQ3GA.

Currently the Team is composed by  Paolo I3DLI, Alessandro IW3GGU, Gianpietro I3PVB, Angelo IK3RIP, Corrado IK3YBX, Loris IZ3LCP, Davide IW3IDX, and Giulio IW3HVB. Many others are by the way involved in various ways with their support.

The 144 MHz station is currently under a radical update. We should be ready for the first contest of the season (March 7-8) with the new setup.

The logistics of a station in the midlle of the lagoon are difficult to describe, everything goes and comes by boats, and arranging a full weekend contest is not an easy task to accomplish. People, hardware, gasoline, food and anything you need must be taken there, and everything must go back at the end of the contest, with the rubbish as well. The convivial side is still strong, as we manage to use the 1000 sqmtr fishing net (owned and built from scratch by Angelo IK3RIP, you can see it from google earth) to provide us with fresh fishfood.....

The Station:

Hope to work you on 2 meters.....  73 de Giulio IW3HVB
