I mainly use CW mode, being on-air since Sept 2003 after many years of phone and digital HAM activity. Recently build up a little 6m tower with some new antennas when moved home. Using now an EH for 80m and an UltraBeam UB-50 dynamic antenna for 6-40m. Coming from a vertical CP6 Diamond I can really say now it's another music working in HF with the UB-50! It is built with heavy duty components, the assembly can be done by a 5 years old boy (!) as it is really simple and well explained, you have all the motors and relay connections already cut at measure and with ready soldered connectors, so it's really a plug-and-play antenna!

I too have a little collinear V-UHF for local traffic.

My main rig is a Yaesu FT 1000D, for now I don't use power amplifiers as I think 200W and a good antenna are more than sufficient to make contacts with the whole world, sometimes giving you those 'battle-challenge' situations on huge pileups otherwise too simple to pass with KWatts out, HI! Recently bought an used IC 7400 just to comfortably play with 6m band. Have also a small IC 7000 used sometimes in QTH and /M while going around with my camper using an AH-4 tuner and a 9 mt fishing rod. I found this to be the simplest and well-performing solution in mobile (while parked obviously!). Sometimes I operate a small QRP CW transceiver by SmallWonderLabs, it's an SW40+ on 40 metres band. Really good mini-rig, I am enjoing very much with it.

QSLs are well accepted via Bureau, I regularly update my logs on LoTW too.

73s, all the best!
