I WILL LISTEN, AND LISTEN, AND THEN LISTEN AGAIN

I WILL ONLY CALL IF I CAN COPY THE DX STATION PROPERLY

I WILL NOT TRUST THE CLUSTER AND WILL BE SURE OF THE DX STATION'S CALL SIGN BEFORE CALLING

I WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DX STATION NOR ANYONE CALLING HIM AND WILL NEVER TUNE UP ON THE DX FREQUENCY OR IN THE QSX SLOT

I WILL WAIT FOR THE DX STATION TO END A CONTACT BEFORE I CALL HIM

I WILL ALWAYS SEND MY FULL CALL SIGN

I WILL CALL AND THEN LISTEN FOR A REASONABLE INTERVAL. I WILL NOT CALL CONTINUOUSLY.

I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX OPERATOR CALLS ANOTHER CALL SIGN, NOT MINE

I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX OPERATOR QUERIES A CALL SIGN NOT LIKE MINE

I WILL NOT TRANSMIT WHEN THE DX STATION CALLS OTHER GEOGRAPHIC AREAS THAN MINE

WHEN THE DX OPERATOR CALLS ME, I WILL NOT REPEAT MY CALL SIGN UNLESS I THINK HE HAS COPIED IT INCORRECTLY

I WILL BE THANKFUL IF AND WHEN I DO MAKE A CONTACT

I WILL RESPECT MY FELLOW HAMS AND CONDUCT MYSELF SO AS TO EARN THEIR RESPECT.

I would thank Dan, K7IA, for is work on an effective, such as clever at least, white paper about RTTY contesting.

Who is interested in please refer to Dan's pages here on QRZ just clicking on this text.

You will be happily surprised on how him could make easy to understand almost all about the the basics of the subject matter!

Dan's words:

Contesting!! Are you interested in contesting--especially RTTY contesting? I've recently created an essay covering the basics ofcontesting, the basics of RTTY, and how you can become a skilled RTTY contester. Send an email to me, and I'll send a copy of "Contesting and RTTY--the Basics" to you!

November 2013 WAE RTTY

THE WAE RTTY is gone. Same setup as it was in the JARTS. But great problems this time. Some reliability problem on the newest K3 Ffirmware and the microham setup . too early to say more but some click after one day liveng in a hell solved. Definetively a troubleshooting job is opened and I wish to have fun getting the real solution for my beloved K3, Nick and Bart. Nick is the left one, Bart, the last arrived, it's in front.

Why I have named those? Easy, they have personality. The K3 have personality. I should find how to match theirs personalities and my fun using those SO2R.oaring. HI! It's not a easy task for who as me push it to the high into automations, macros and gestures BTW. CU AGN Nick and Bart over the next contest. But at home, well at home I wish rule for you two!

TU all for the QSO and sorry if I made some mistakes, coming back late or coming back at all. But the restart of the whole mess here was a mere question of a couple of minutes. Even if i tried it all on air and off air for weeks.

Nevertheless I enjoyed the WAE! It's a unique way to be there as we love. Logs will be on LOTW and eQSL.

Ciao

PS last but not least, definetively the latest K3 firmware have FSK way too much tight. Look at the RTTY skimmers logs for WAE days . I have had to jump elsewhere too often as peoples jumped on my shoes. May be I would solve not having shoes, mmmh . forget about.

--- before the contest

Same ticket, same place, same joy as the JARTS I hope. But only for 36 hours.

Rules at http://www.darc.de/referate/dx/contest/waedc/en/rules/

October 19-20 JARTS

rules at http://jarts.jp/rules2013.html

That was my ticket as SO2R from the IQ1RY premises . CU ALL THERE! I have seen 2250 not dupe QSO, almost 2370 with dupes . in 40 hours over 48 hours of operations.

CQ WW RTTY

No tickets to buy for this, it's a raffle event. Who will arrive before another would have some operating time in a operating chair. ;>)

More about my side of the 2012 JARTS and the 2012 WAE (SO2R AB HP)

TU all for the QSO's (and the QTC's)!

Who clicked you in the log at IW1AYD .

Where your calsign went clicked on .

(at almost 300g W land is on sight)

Where all the fire was .

Just after some more SW setup, still not at the start but well into operations, the main screen was this .

PSE, note the two "2Tone.exe" text windows, DI for N1MM. One is the Left and the other is the Right channels.

They save my days and nights. Peaking the aknowelgeable QSO to the highest percentage. Alone there where not so resolutive, but as they gives a second view with a different decode mathematics they made miracles. MTTY is for sure needed for the RX side and it is still a must for the FSK TX side.

2Tone it's a great job made by G3YYD, TU David! BTW, it is free!
