Hello to all the friends,

my name is Giampiero i was born in 1952, I live in a nice little city, Casale Monferrato, located in the North West part of Italy about 80 Km West of Milan and 80 Km East of Turin.

I passed the examination and obtain my licence and my call in 1989 in Italy IW1CKM.

In 1992 i was in Japan for business and i passed the FCC examination and i obtained the USA Technician Licence, KA3ZFA,

I could not renew it in 2002, (my friend returned to Italy and i lost the postage address in Usa.

For few years i was not active. In 2007 i returned to be an amateur of the antenna

I keep myself busy on 2 meters, 70 cm, 23 cm, and microwaves

I attend several contest along the year eighter from Home or from the top of the mountains (1500 meters - 1800 meters)

Sometimes (whenever the weather allow me) i travell by scooter (You can see some sample of field days on my Qsl card)

I have one IC 756Pro III, one IC 910 H, and one FT857 I use several antennas:

HF9V for HF bands. on scooter field days, i use one home made yagi, 9 elements that folded can fit into the trunk, and it can be assebled in about 12 minutes) -

At home i have 17B2 and 13B2 Cushcraft (2 meters), 25 elements (70 cm), 4 X 35 elements (23cm ), one 40 elements (13cm) , 1 metr dish (6cm and 3 cm) , and last but not least, one 6 elements (6 meters band)
