Thanks for looking me up!! I live in Naples (South Italy), a few hundred meters from the castle near the coast in the picture above, overlooking the Tyrrhenian sea. I'm fascinated by radio communications since I was a kid and I discovered the real magic of radio waves. My main interests are for antenna constructions, try old and new transceivers, long distances Dx and technical Qso. Looking forward to work with you in the bands, 73 de Mike IZ8XOV

Location

My station consist of Yaesu Ft-950, Yaesu Ft-897/D and various mobile and portable rigs. Hf antenna are Doublet Dipole fed with ladder line and remote tuner (Mfj-993/B), 33 ft vertical with remote tuner (Cg-3000) and 141 ft wire loop. Vhf antenna are Diamond F-23 and 10 elements yagi. Uhf antenna are 2x15 elements yagi. I don’t use amplifier

I'm not a contester, although I will participate informally if I've time. I do enjoy Dx and local contacts from 80 meters to Uhf both from fixed station and also with portable operations, especially during the summer holidays with a big fun!
