The Big kite flying festival in Kasukabe-City (ex Showa Town) is a representative sightseeing event in Saitama.

On both the 3rd and 5th of May,every year,it is heid on the site of the Edo River bank near Nishihoshubana.

The size of the huge kite is 15m long,11m wide, and weight is 800kg.

Red signifies the sun and green symbolizes the ground,it has been a traditional event since the Late Edo period.

---

Although the rig which I am usually using is ICOM IC-756 ProIII, QSO is sometimes enjoyed using Collins.

Thank you .
