THE BORDER SERVICE INSTITUTE OF MONGOLIA

The Order for Combat Merits, named after Mongolian Hero Captain S.Lhagvadorj, The Border Service Institute of Mongolia is established in 1934. BSI is located in Ulaanbaatar city. It consists of 6 main sections, 3 faculties, 8 academic and military departments, over 100 of instructors and approximately 1200 cadets and students. The mission is to prepare state servants, border specialist officers and non-commissioned officers who respect and value the vital national interests, have a high sense of patriotism; have leadership skills; are moral, physically sound and courageous; are highly educated in civilian and military affairs and professionally competent; and conduct state border research and scientific works of high quality. We prepare border service officer, border control officer, logistical support officer, psychological officer, jurisprudences in bachelor and master degree. This December we will celebrate our 75 years anniversary.
