 Hello,

I am glad you are looking me up.  Maybe we made contact on hf, or you are curious who I am.  My name is Ken Muggli, and I live in Glen Ullin, North Dakota.  I live in a very small city, no stop lights and only five kids in the first grade.  Glen Ullin is in western North Dakota on  the edge of the North Dakota badlands.

North Dakota,  where the wind blows hard, the air is pure, winter is cold, and the antenna installation and repair season is very short.

I have been a ham since 1985.  My interest in radio started when I was 10 years old with my first crystal radio set.  I still remember the thrill of hearing voices coming out of the ether into my little ear bud.  AH!  the magic of radio, I have been hooked ever since. I went through the CB and SWL phase on my way to becoming a ham.  I am very proud to be a ham.

My station consists of an Icom 7000 (barefoot), a telegraph key (N3ZN), a desk, a LogiKey-5 keyer by Idiom Press and a SCAF-1 filter by Idiom press, all installed in my pickup truck.  My antenna is mounted in the bed on the drivers side.  I use  a HI-Q  model 5-80 antenna with  a 84" whip on top.

I operate about 95% on CW,  you will find me mostly on the Fists frequencies.  I enjoy rag chewing and ham related social events.

I am retired from the corporate world and now work as a clockmaker to occupy my time.

If you are a county hunter and need western ND and eastern MT counties, try me, I might be able to help you on CW or SSB.

I can be reached at:     dakclock@beu.midco.net    Fists #  14398

My SWOT (Side Winders on Two)  #  3578.  I would like to sked  a   2 meter CW or SSB QSO with you?

QSL:  CONUS direct, please include a SASE   # 10 envelope, my QSL card will not fit in a small envelope.  DX  via bureau.

73,  K0HL
