My main aera of interest is  6 Meter operation, in addition, I am always searching for the " Holy Grail" of antennas and I believe I have found a close one. I was licensed in 1959 as KØTSI . Over the years as I moved around the country, I held the following calls : WAØTGW & WB8RID. I finished up my 50mhz SSB WAS, and WAC during solar cycle 23. I have been active on 6 since solar cycle 19.

I retired from Ball Aerospace in 2005 and from Coors Brewing Co. in 1994. While at Ball, I built and tested antennas. Among the most interesting were the 12 C band antenna assemblies that flew on the space shuttle's STS-99 global mapping mission.

Used my G.I. bill to graduate from The Ohio State University in 1977 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am a Navy Veteran (60-66) serving on the Submarine USS Barracuda SST-3 and the Submarine Tender USS Fulton, AS-11. I was honorably discharged an E-5 Electrician.

My other retirement activities include:  Swing and country western Dancing, Military history, and I play my violin and harmonica, and collect art that I discover at garage sales.
