Hello from Warrensburg Mo. I have been licensed since Mar of 02 and enjoy amateur radio very much. It was a life long dream come true. When I was a kid growing up in Stanberry Mo I used to listen to an old receiver hooked up to a wire that was run to a tree from the corner of the house.
As happened to many of us- career, kids and the demands of life put this hobby on hold all of these years. I was injured in an accident in 2000 and was unable to work for 6 weeks so I studied up and became licensed.
The station as pictured is as follows from left: Kenwood TS 830S, Elecraft K3, Vectronics HF600-QSK amp (left of computer screen). {palstar AT1500DT tuner, Icom 2100 H , TE systems 2m amp, and an Icom IC271A all mode 2m rig. Mobile rig is an IC7200 and an IC 208H
You will find me about anywhere on the bands but tend to rag chew on 1.947, 3.964.2, NCS Mo Traffic Net, and am manager for the Missouri Emergency Net.
Looking forward to meeting you on the air.
